Sai Ram. Welcome to Swamy's Blog on Bach Flower and other Essences. Bach Flower Essences are also called Bach Flower Remedies (in UK). The word essence denotes the essential quality of the flower and other officinal (medicinally useful) part of the plant / tree. Bach Flower Essences are not essences in the sense that they don't have any smell unlike the 'essential oils' used in Aromatherapy (such as Rose Oil, Sandalwood Oil etc.).

I have set up this blog to share with you some information, knowledge etc. gained by me over the last few years. I will also try to compare and contrast this healing technique with other healing techniques (such as Aromatherapy, Homeopathy) etc.

I will give you an introduction to holistic health, an introductory article on Bach Flower Remedies recently published elsewhere and then will give you the main pointers how to select the right combination of Bach Flower Essences for you, your friends etc. I will later share with you some information about other essences too.
